Univers, the global decarbonization software leader headquartered in Singapore, and iStore, a manufacturer of renewable energy products for Australia, announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy assets in Australia. The partnership will play a critical role in catalyzing Australia’s plans to achieve its renewable electricity target of 82% by 2030.
As part of the partnership, Univers has deployed its Software-as-a-Service application “Univers EMS” to manage over ten-thousand distributed renewable energy assets under iStore’s portfolio. These distributed renewable energy assets include photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems, heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging stations at various commercial and industrial as well as residential sites.
Univers EMS is powered by Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (AIoT), and its proprietary software EnOS™ platform connects on-the-ground operational technology and in-the-cloud intelligence to deliver real-time energy data and data-driven carbon monitoring, reporting, and abatement. Univers’ system currently connects over 220 million devices and 550 gigawatts of energy assets globally.
