$500 Trade-In Solar Inverter Upgrade Offer
These Terms and Conditions govern the $500 Trade-In Solar Inverter Upgrade Promotion (“Promotion”) conducted by iStore QLD Pty Ltd ABN 54 152 166 160 (“Promoter”) and are applicable to participating retailers in Australia. By participating in this Promotion, retailers agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
1.1 This Promotion is open only to Australian businesses that are authorised retailers of iStore products.
1.2 The Promotion is not open to individual consumers, end-users, or members of the public.
1.3 The Promotion is available only for trade-ins of eligible existing Huawei inverters, as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
2. Promotion Period
2.1 The Promotion commences on 1st August 2025 and ends on 24th December 2025. The promotion will conclude at the limit of 2000 registrations or unless extended or withdrawn earlier by the Promoter.
2.2 All trade-in claims must be lodged within the Promotion Period.
3. Offer Details
3.1 For each eligible old solar inverter traded in by a participating retailer, the Promoter will provide a $500 (excl. GST) trade-in credit towards the purchase of a new eligible solar inverter from the Promoter.
3.2 The $500 credit:
- Will be applied to the retailer’s account as a credit note which may be applied via a verified iStore distributor;
- Is not redeemable for cash, gift cards, or other products.
3.3 You can submit by either using the hashtag #istoretradeup. The credit will then be attributed to the posting retailers account. Please also hashtag your iStore distributor for example #SGWholesale, #ACSolarWarehouse so that the credit can be assigned to the appropriate account. If you opt not to post automatically online you may submit via email a photo of the original site and the upgraded site to pv.info@istore.net.au
4. Trade-In Requirements
4.1 The old inverter must be:
- A complete unit (not stripped for parts);
- Removed from a working or previously installed solar system; and
4.2 The retailer must provide proof of removal and replacement (e.g., photo of the inverter in situ before removal)
4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to reject trade-in units that do not meet these requirements.
5. Exclusions
5.1 This Promotion does not apply to:
- Inverters that are counterfeit, stolen, or damaged beyond recognition;
- Inverters already subject to any other rebate, buy-back, or promotional trade-in with the Promoter;
- Purchases made through unauthorised distributors.
6. General Conditions
6.1 The Promoter may modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time without prior notice. 6.2 This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 6.3 The Promoter’s decision on eligibility, trade-in approval, and credit application is final and binding.
7. Liability
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of participation in this Promotion, including any costs associated with removing, shipping, or disposing of old inverters. 7.2 These Terms and Conditions do not exclude or limit any rights or remedies a party may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable Australian consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited.
